Simon Markus - Overstone Leys - A Bronze Age barrow cemetery and Anglo-Saxon settlement and cemetery..

Abstract:
Overstone Leys - A Bronze Age barrow cemetery and Anglo-Saxon settlement and cemetery. The site boasts the largest Anglo-Saxon collection of amber beads in the country as part of the over 3000 finds recovered from the cemetery. Specialist work is still ongoing, and we're currently undertaking, among other things, isotope and aDNA analysis of some of the burials to better understand the population of this settlement.
